The Spring Book Tag

Hello loves!

It is still technically spring so this tag is still valid haha. I was tagged by the lovely Kerri in this so make sure that you go and check out her blog if you haven’t already because it is brilliant!

I don’t know where this originated but if you do let me know and I’ll tag them here.

Questions

What’s on your spring TBR list?

This is Why We Lie, Gabriella Lepore

The Wolf and the Woodsman, Ava Reid

Black Sun, Rebecca Roanhorse

And many others!

If someone asked you for a spring release recommendation, what would it be?

Elektra, Jennifer Saint – out now

I Kissed Shara Wheeler, Casey McQuistion – out 12th May

Which two books coming out before summer are you eagerly awaiting?

I actually don’t know! All my preorders are for September haha.

Which characters would make a good Easter bunny?

Nick Nelson.

I mean can you imagine it???? I am very much in my Hearstopper phase after the TV show came out (I will probably rewatch it again soon) and I just think that Nick Nelson would make the best Easter Bunny ever.

What book makes you think of spring?

I don’t have one!!

Name a cover with flowers on it.

Circe, Madeline Miller.

I recently re-read this book and it was absolutely incredible!

Which two characters would you go on an Easter egg hunt with?

Elizabeth Bennet and Georgia from Loveless.

Ok so I chose Lizzie because I want to meet her like desperately and Georgia because we could bond about being ace together!

What is your favourite spring bookish activity?

Reading outside.

I cannot wait for my isolation to end (hopefully tomorrow) so that I can read outside again. My favourite place to do this is Edinburgh is Princes Street Gardens as it’s so green, even in winter, and it has my favourite view of the castle.

Which book did you enjoy that has a spring-like cover?

So my edition of Pride and Prejudice has a very nice spring like cover! And we all know how much I love Pride and Prejudice.

Who is your favourite contemporary author?

I have several because I’m an indecisive person.

Talia Hibbert, Casey McQuiston and Alice Oseman.
