So the lovely Fiona tagged me to do this post last week I think (time is still kind of relative at the moment) and I’m finally getting round to it. So thank you so much Fiona for the tag, you guys should definitely go and check out her blog if you are not already because she does really awesome bookish posts and the aesthetic of her blog is great too!
Anyways, thankfully it’s still January so this tag isn’t too late so without further ado let’s jump into it.
How many books are you planning to read in 2021?
I have set my goodreads goal for 60 books this year and hope to read more than that. I am currently at 7 books read and am feeling good about it but I have a feeling I might drop off when I get back to Edinburgh because I’ll be more distracted by the ability to watch stuff into the small hours of the night.
Name five books you didn’t get to read in 2020 but want to make a priority in 2021?
Children of Virtue and Vengeance, by Tom Adeyemi
The Flat Share, by Beth O’Leary
And then some netgalley books haha… (I’ve had these for a little while and it makes me so sad)
The Absolute Book, by Elizabeth Knox
Four Symbols, by Giacometti Ravenne
Good and Evil, by Giacometti Ravenne
Name a genre you want to read more of in 2021?
There are actually two!
Middle Grade and Murder Mystery.
I know that these are incredibly different but they are definitely the two genres that I really want to read more of because not only do I want to get more into Middle Grade but I also want to get more into murder mystery because it is something that I have discoveries act I really enjoy.
Three non-book related goals for 2021?
- To journal everyday
- To exercise more
- To reach 300 followers over here on my blog
What’s a book you’ve had forever that you still need to read?
There are seriously so many of these that I think if I list them all you guys would get incredibly bored haha.
But I am working on getting through my owned TBR this year and so fingers crossed by the end of the year I will have not as many of these!
One word that you hope 2021 will be?
Stay safe, stay healthy and keep learning!
