Three things about me
Let me think what you guys don’t know about me…
My favourite animal is a wolf (and had been literally all of my life). I absolutely love these incredible and majestic creatures and I have been fortune at enough to get up close to these animals and they are just so incredible and awe inspriring. I know that they are obviously deadly but I just love them so much!
My favourite book ever is Pride and Prejudice. I just absolutely adore this book! I first studied it in school and just fell in love with it ( I also love the BBC adaptation of it and have probably watched it way too many times).
And finally, my favourite colour is yellow. This is because its so bright and happy and it always brings a bit of sunshine to any day.
Im also a Hufflepuff so…
Why did you start your blog?
I started my blog to go alongside my boookstagram and to get some of my thoughts out. (Bookstagram handle below)
This included reviews, or just stuff that was circling around in my anxious brain.
Also, I need some sore of fun creative outlet because my course at university is very essay and facts based. Essentially I just wanted a fun hobby and since staring my blog and my bookstagram I have just fallen in love with the wonderful community and I have met some truly lovely people (some of whom are tagged below).
What is your favourite book to movie adaptation? And why?
This is a difficult one, and I probably have a couple.
Definitely the 1995? BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, as mentioned above I just love it so much. I probably watched it about six times while studying the book at school.
Another one is the 2020 version of Emma. I went to the cinema not expecting anything and I just loved it so much. It was simply wonderful.
What kind of posts do you love writing the most?
I love writing tags. I just find answering the questions so fun, and I think that finding books to fit the questions is fun and sometimes I remind myself of books that I haven’t read in ages!
Reviews are fun too, as I am able to get all of my thoughts of a book over to you guys and it helps me justify my goodreads ratings e.t.c
I’m a full time student. What do you do?
I am a full time student at the University of Edinburgh, where I study Ancient History.
Nothing very exciting !
Name a thing that can get your book lover card revoked.
Nothing. I believe that if you love books then that is it, you’re a book lover. This does include loving diverse and own voices books, especially in the light of what is going on in the world at the moment.
Essentially, as long as you are respectful and love books then you are a book lover.
My favourite posts
So, I’m a harsh critic of myself but here are some of my own posts that I really like…
- What is the book that makes you nostalgic (for anything)?
- What book would you turn into a movie/ TV series and why?
- How do you keep track of books that you read (jounraling, goodreads, spreadsheets…)
- Most anticipated read for the rest of the year?
- What do you enjoy about blogging ?
I love you all so much and I hope that you enjoyed my answers to the questions!
Stay safe, stay healthy and keep learning!
